CLD #139

All animals have a great quality. They are "free." Or are they? Are we free?  Animals do whatever they are trained to do, they do whatever their master tells them to do. Because we are Jewish that means we are "legit" servants of Hashem; how does this mean we are free, what makes us different from animals?
As Yehudim, we have a direct connection to Hashem: our neshama. Our neshama's purpose is to serve Hashem BaShamayim! Because this fact is 100% true, this makes us completely different from animals. It is true that both us and animals are "trained" to follow the master's plan (tefillin every morning, netilat yadayim, shabat kodesh every friday night, asher yatzar after bathroom, etc.) BUT we have a holy NESHAMA that is CONNECTED DIRECTLY to Hashem's Kiseh HaKavod in Shamayim, unlike animals!!! Our purpose is to serve Hashem.
When one follows the derech of our beautiful Da'at, and do what we internally want to do, we declare ourselves free (beginning of plagues in our parasha marking the beginning of freedom/redemption!).

CLD #138

The Meam Loez says that a candle symbolizes 2 things: The Torah and a Neshama (soul). When Hashem brings a neshama into this world he tells the person: My light is in your hands and your light is in My hands. What does this mean? The Torah HaKdosha, the light, is in the hands of the human, and the human's neshama, the other light, is in the hands of our Father in Shamayim, HaKadosh Baruch Hu. In order for our neshamot to exist, in order to keep the candle lit, we need to keep what Hashem gave us, our neshama. The only way to keep the light is to keep the Torah, or aka keeping the Mitzvot (staying happy, netillat yadayim, brachot, shabat kodesh, chagim, etc). We are under a spiritual contract: Keep the Torah and I will give you life. Mefarshim say that living a life without the source of all kdusha, without the Torah, is like death itself.
B'H we will all wake up and take advantage of the fact that we are not Goyim through Torah Learning and soon say that we are real Talmidei Chachamim and Bnot Yisrael.
Bracha VeHatzlacha in whatever you do.

"HaChaim VeHaMavet ּBeyad HaLashon."
Life and Death can be determined by the Tongue. This is extremely true. This saying, from Chacham Shlomo Hamelech's Mishlei, can actually be seen everyday. The power of our tongue is unbelievable! We can see that we (Humans=Tzelem Elokim) are the only living things in our planet that have the power of the Tongue, speech. Why did Hashem onlyyy give us the power to speak? Why do dogs express themselves with their tails? Why do horses show they're angry with their ears?
Maybe because humans have the brain capacity, Yehudim in particular, to separate their neshamot from their gashmiyoot, their bodies. We need to follow the way of Hashem and be able to control all the pleasures of our bodies that contradict with our Torah HaKdosha! Also, a normal Yehudi can gain the control of those pleasures, but only through the Torah will he/she reach the maximum he/she can take from these pleasures (food, relations, sleep, smachot, comedy, etc).
B'H we will be blessed with the understanding that the Torah is our single guide for this world, and then we'll also control our power, the power of speech.
SHABAT SHALOM!

In all rainforests there are millions of tons of water from shamayim showering on the greenest of plants, trees and flowers <If only it would be the same situation in Eretz HaKodesh>. The water, the symbol of life, the symbol of achdut, the symbol of kdusha, supports these rainforests throughout the world. Obviously if we can learn from the simplest thing in the world something for ourselves in regards to our beautiful Da'at, then we can learn something from these forests. These plants need tons of gallons of H2O to continue existing, so to the Jew. As we all know, water is used as a symbol of our Torah HaKdosha. Just like a plant needs at least a single drop of water to exist, so to us as the children of Hashem need the water to exist or aka: the Torah. We should all at least spend 5 minutes of our day EVERYDAY B'H to connect with Hashem. Torah Learning is equal to millions of mitzvot. Let's grab some spiritual diamonds and check out some of the Torah Websites on the blog to connect with our Father in Shamayim.
Cool Fact about Water=Just like Water is adhesive and each molecule bonds together, the Torah HaKdosha connects all Jews together.

B'H Let's promote Achdut, bring Mashiach, and Learn Torah.

Bracha V'Hatzlacha in all your endeavors :D.

CLD #135

Our life, as beautiful as it is, is exactlyyyyy like an ATV ride. When one goes on an ATV he/she has full control, she/he has an origin and a destination. He/She can drive as fast as they want, as slow as they want, as happy or sad as they want. On 99% of ATV trips there are hills, rivers, swamps, you name it. Throughout the entire journey there are beautiful sceneries to gaze in wonders at and just simply fall in love with nature and forget about your destination.
Our life can be controlled by us, simply by our thoughts. If we pretend we are happy, eventually we will become happy. If we transform a situation in the biggest most negative event in the world, it will becoming a disaster. In the end, the direction we take is in our control. At the same time, the geographic area, the weather, the circumstances when driving is not in our control. Same with our lives, G-d controls the ups and downs, the unexpected weather disasters, or simply the surprising events that make us believe our life is going down the drain. We can also see the Yetzer Hara through this metaphor. The Yetzer Hara wants us to speed, wants us to forget about the dangers of driving fast and swerving. Wants us to stop and look at the view and take the free-country approach and forget about the destination. We need to learn to control the Yetzer and say "I am the driver." We need to simply be happy and let life be with the attitude that there is someone who is controlling the circumstances, Hashem Elokeinu, and there is a destination. Olam Haba.
Smile, because as difficult as you think it is, it is all in your control, in your hands.

We can all beat the Yetzer Hara, no matter what he is for you.
Its all a matter of overcoming the urge again and again.

VIDEO OF THE WEEK!

CLD #134

When one walks into another country, he/she might experience a new outlook on life, a new sense of fresh air, a new vision, or simply a new experience, but a Jew does not change his beliefs or lifestyle for the country. If anything, the country needs to change for him. Throughout our history, the Jewish people have been through exiles, many countries, and fought with many different groups of people. Throughout the entire time they refused to change. This is the power of the Jew.
The only change a Jew goes through is in his/her change in how he/she wants to find Hashem Elokeinu. No matter what country, Hashem exists for all of us.
We need to always search for the most efficient way in reaching Yirat Shamayim and getting closer to the kdusha. We are in a win/win situation.
May We all get Blessed with the Shechina and B'H withe Viat Mashiach Tzidkeinu Bekarov Amen.
Smile, Cuz this world is too beautiful to be upset about. Time to Appreciate the good that Hashem does for us, Time to appreciate Judaism.

CLD #133

Jews are amazing. All Jews are amazing. The truth is that each and every one of us is considered different. No person in this entire world is like the person next to him. Everyone has different habits, different views on life, different likes and dislikes. No one is the same.
G-d created all of us, and if you do believe in Him, then you know that each one is treated with a specific amount of attention. With the amount of effort we put into mitzvot and doing G-ds work, that is how much "hashgacha pratit" or private protection/special care we get from G-d in return. If you show anyone in the world that you love him/her, he/she will do for you more in regards to everything.
The same goes for our Father in Shamayim, Avinu Malkenu. He loves all of us, like a father loves his children. We need to put this fact in our heads. We need to understand no matter how far we have gotten away from doing the daily Avodot of Hashem (religious acts <birkat hamazon, netillat yadaim, brachot before food, praying, etc>) Hashem will always greet us with open arms. Each person has his own way of doing Hashem's avoda, the kdusha of every person is different. Everyone has their own potential to reach.
B'H we will understand that each one of us is hear to complete a specific action that NO ONE ELSE CAN DO!
May you all have a shavua tov and B'H have the zchut of knowing more or less (or thinking about) what you need to do in this world. There is a speciic path for each and every one of us.
Smile, cuz Hashem loves you.

CLD #132

We don't appreciate the value of the Rabbis and Talmidei Chachamim in our generation. A Rabbi of the smallest possible congregation (of 10 families=minyan) has to deal with constant telephone calls regarding the most randomn questions of halacha. In one minute he might get a call about the kosher supervision regarding the 'brown labeled' hot chocolate powder mix and then another minute regarding the issues between a young couple with birth control and condoms, etc. What about the Rabbis of our communities? We need to think before we approach a Rabbi or anyone of that stature and give them the benefit of the doubt. After all, most Rabbis are the few links we have with our connection to Hashem. Imagine you being in the Rabbi's position. We need to think, we always need to keep on opening our eyes.
A Talmid Chacham is very different than a Rav. A Talmid Chacham or even the basic Chozer B'Tshuva young man/lady have to sacrifice. The sacrifice is intense, from dropping friends left and right to changing the way one thinks, the sacrifice and constant need to hold back against specific urges is a whole challenge within itself. Rav Michael Lasri said in his shiur that in the time of the Beit HaMikdash B'B, there will be a huge table seating Avraham, Yitzchak and Yaakov,etc...with all the Young Chozrei B'Tshuva next to them andddd the huge Rabbis from Meah Shearim will be waiting them food. We need to give our respects to these young boys and girls who do Mesiroot Nefesh and through their maturity realize what is the EMET in our world>>>Torah and the way of Hashem. This is what makes them huge people.
I hope we can go up to our Rabbis this Shabat and say Chazak U'Baruch and Thank You for all your work from the deepness of our hearts.
SHABAT SHALOM
Shabat Kodesh=Reality.
P.S. Yetzer Hara tries to ruin Shabat by making one go through many tests that might get the person angry. Don't fall to the Yetzer Hara and just slap a smile on your face and say "Hakol Ze Mi Lemala."

When looking at the psukim in Ashrei, one can see how unbelievable the power of the pen is. David Hamelech who wrote the 145th Perek of Tehillim over 2000 years ago, wrote with magnificent grammar and I am sure he didn't write the Tehillim book (psalms) overnight. When looking at the 18th pasuk, "Karov Hashem LeKol Korav Lekol Asher Yikra'oo'hoo BeEmet," you can really see the beauty of our religion.
David Hamelech is saying Hashem is Close to All of His People that Want to Be Close to Him, that Call to Him with Honesty. Why did David HaMelech A'H add "Lekol Asher Yikra'oo'hoo BeEmet," it seems pretty superfluous?
I thought to myself that we always need to be in motion, in action, using the middah of zrizut for Avodat Hashem. How does this connect to the Pasuk from Tehillim? THE ONLY WAY HASHEM WILL BE CLOSE TO US IS IF WE CALL HIM WITH HONESTY. The only way Hashem will turn to us for help and give us attention is if WE take THE FIRST STEP! We need to push in Judaism. We need to act. We need to wake up and start throwing our thoughts in the garbage and tell ourselves "I don't care if I want to go clubbing, I am going to do what Hashem wants of me!" Only when one takes this step he will be able to understand why clubbing is not what Hashem wants us to do. Don't run away from the truth.
Do you really think G-d doesn't know you? You really think G-d doesn't know it is hard to turn away from the group of friends who want to go completely against the Torah?! Be Honest like it says in Tehillim and ASK G-D for help! Look up and speak to G-d.
Parashat Shmot shows us that the Jews were put into exile because of their decision to connect with the Egyptian (Non-Jewish) mindset and society. Time to learn from history, from our Torah HaKdosha.
Today is the first step.
Today is you.
Shabat Shalom

CLD #130

For once in my life I used my own philosophy/advice. I was cutting up bananas and strawberries and asked my self: How is this helping me spiritually? What can I learn from this experience? It says in The Igeret HaRamban that through everything you read you should find something that you can apply to your life to make it more spiritual.
I thought of a little chiddush about the difference between strawberries and bananas.
A strawberry is Beautiful. Its vibrant brick-red-color attracts the eye and fills your senses with natural beauty. On the other hand, a banana is a little low on the attraction side. It has a moldy yellow with black spots like some parasite is attacking the poor thing, and it has a peel that just engulfs it.
Also, the strawberry's beauty is shown to the world, its open, its free. HOWEVER when you want to eat it, you barely get 50% out of the produce. You have to cut off the top because its filled with bugs. The strawberry is Olam Haze, its the hot girl at the club wearing barely anything, its the delicious non kosher pizza you are dying to take a bite out of, it is the produce of the Yetzer Hara. It seems so right, so good, but you're barely getting any pleasure from it. A banana is closed, its shy, its peel is in the way of the enjoyment, it seems so tough to finally eat it.
The banana is Olam Haba, it is the extra effort you take to get out of bed 20 minutes earlier to go to minyan, it is the 7 seconds you take out of your day to say Modeh Ani or a single Bracha. Olam Haba is just a single peel away that seems so hard to peel off, and after the peel you get 100% guaranteed satisfaction.
With the smallest effort
we can easily get there because its all in our head.
Its all up to you.
Shabat Shalom

"Shma Yisrael Hashem Elokeinu Hashem Echad."
This is considered as the most important and basic foundation of all of Yahadut, all of our beautiful religion, from its scientific reasoning to parenting to morals to the basic understanding that there is one G-d.
This sums up our entire Religion. How? How does that even make sense?!
Rav Levy shlit'a, my rabbi of Congregation Bet Yisrael told us that the word Sham, which is made up of 3 letters, has a background acronym for "Ayin=Ol, Mem=Malchut, Shin=Shamayim." The concept of Ol Malchut Shamayim means that Hashem is our king, Hashem is our leader and guide, and Hashem is 100% the one running this world. Rav Levy explained to us beautifully that during Shma we hand our lives over to G-d and tell him: "My life is in your hands."
We need to take this concept to the next level by thinking about it. It is not enough to say "That was beautiful" and move on with your day. We need to slowly slowly get to a point where we (if we have the zchut) believe that Hashem is in charge of EVERYTHING!
B'H May We succeed Spiritually and Generally.

Happy Shovavim=Rashei Tevot (Acronym) of Shemot-VaEra-Bo-Beshalach-Yitro-Mishpateem.
These six weeks symbolize weeks of tshuva and just a simple booming of spirituality in the world.
These parshiyot discuss the works of Hashem in the land of Mitzrayim, the first exile, the first redemption, Moshe Rabbeinu, and the Mesiroot Nefesh of bnot yisrael <women of israel>.
Shovavim began Motzei Shabat and in order for one to take advantage of the kdusha that comes into our world, he/she can do tshuva any time and gain a lot.
The Netivot Shalom explains that during Shovavim one should do tshuva regarding the Pgam Brit (or destruction of the Male Organ and its use). The main way of doing tshuva for this sin (which due to America's sexually-free attitude towards sex, is frequent through teenagers and young males) is studying the depths of the Oral Torah, or the Talmud (Gmara). Mekubalim recite special prayers during certain brachot in amida and have fasts throughout these weeks. This is a holy time of the year, let's all take advantage by reading one perek of tehillim everyday (I recommend Perek #47) for this year's Shovavim (takes 60-100 seconds of your 24 hour day).
Through Shovavim, one could reach the heights of the kdusha, emunah and love with Hashem!
B'H  May we all have the zchut of understanding what Shovavim is all about.
Let's pray for Mashiach and love between all Jews (especially the soldiers fighting for our country).
Happiness is the Gateway to Kdusha.

VIDEO OF THE WEEK!

CLD #127

Some of us do not even know that Judaism is an all-in-one package religion. First of all, when a Jew describes Judaism in his/her life, it is not an 'aspect' or a 'part' of his/her life, it is their life! Judaism has an answer to everything, When we wake up on the spot we say thank you to Hashem, our lives revolve around thanking our Father in Shamayim! We get out of the bathroom: we say Asher Yatzar, we leave the house: we kiss the mezuza, we step into shul: we say psukim from tehillim. We put on our shoes right foot first and then left foot, we shower in a certain way, do netillat yadayim in a certain way, and everything has an order. Every action has a meaning, everything is so connected to Hashem, it is amazing that we have the opportunity (cannot stress it enough>>>its all up to you) to get close to the creator of the world. Right now Hashem is managing every breathe of ours, and every breathe of the entire planet (and whatever other worlds there are) around the globe.
This leads us to the concept of Cheshbon Nefesh, or literally: "Calculating the Soul." We need to keep on asking ourselves what we are doing in this world and what is our purpose. This term is used to explain the concept of striving to grow and reach perfection. Perfecting our thought process, perfecting the way we eat, perfecting our actions and behaviors to ultimately reach a state of mind where everything we do is leshem shamayim, to turn everything into kdusha with the reason "Because G-d told me." If you believe that G-d created you, how can you say that following the words of G-d is not for you!?!??!
Judaism=Think.
Someone asked me last night if it is true that Hashem love us. In Ramchal's Derech Hashem he explains that the entire purpose of the creation of our world is to provide good. If Hashem created this world because he wants to give and promote good and just help, so it is obvious- solid stone -that Hashem loves each and every one of us.

Baruch Hashem We Have Shabat!
"Ki Hi Mekor HaBeracha"- Shabat is the center of the Bracha that comes into the world for us. In Lecha Dodi we say that is the foundation, base, mekor, source, of the Bracha. Chachamim say that Shabat is worth 1000 times the spirtuality that is in a single day. For example, for every perek of tehillim we say during shabat it is like saying 1000 prakim of David HaMelech's tehillim.
The week spiritually is broken down with shabat being the middle of the week with sunday monday and tuesday connecting to the previous shabat and then wednesday thrusday and friday connecting with the upcoming shabat. Since today we are still connected to the previous shabat, shabat VaYechi, we need to take as much as we can from it and still sing and dance and stay happy. All this is to push ourselves to get closer with Hashem and to realize that we are not the same as other people in our world. We are Jews with neshamot that are connected to the Kiseh HaKavod of Hashem!
Let's all pray for all the Yehuddim in the world who think they lost their connection with shamayim. B'H all the Jews in the colleges around the world will not throw away Yahadut and do kirruv at their colleges and do good in the eyes of Hashem. Since it is so difficult to stay Human in the colleges their schar is infinite. A Real Jew is like a sheep in a pack of wolves, even though he is surrounded by danger he will always be happy if he has Bitachon in Hashem.
Judaism=Think. Think about who your ancestors are and where you're at spiritually. What would they tell you?

CLD #125

When studying for finals, we usually have a set amount of materials to read and memorize and generally if you follow what the teacher tells you to do, you should succeed. So simple. Yahadut is the same thing.
SO WHY IS IT SO DIFFICULT?
In our society, we know what to do, we've heard it a million times that our Torah is our guideline. This is true, but what is also true is the fact that it so easy to leave the guidelines of our Torah HaKdosha. It is so easy to access the darkest and most spiritually dangerous locations of our world through a single mouse click on our computers. Yetzer Hara knows that his final days are up and Mashiach is coming soon so in recent history he has pushed with all his might to instill this power of opportunity to fall spiritually in all of us (in the end of the day it is our decisions). There has been a huge increase in the separation between the hatred of Da'atiyim and Chilonim in Israel (Sinat Chinam), the Internet has become a necessity in order to live (Gilui Arayot), everything is devalued and we are all desensitized to the truth of our religion: true love, modesty, respect, compassion, and most of all-true happiness. This is the reason that the tiniest positive action by us creates this spiritual tidal wave in our world, from silencing when we want to say Lashon Hara to wearing the skirt that is an inch longer. We do not understand the world we live in because in spiritual terms our world is pitch black. In all honesty, the fact that us Jews still keep the Shabat HaKdosha is incomprehensible to the human mind and shows that our neshamot are no different from neshamot of the Beit HaMikdash, we all need to put more effort.
Today is THE opportunity to do Tshuva (its all up to YOU).
Take a minute to think why thousands of Jews have been killed doing Kiddush Hashem.
Does that mean anything to you?
Judaism=Think. Shabat=Reality.
SHABAT SHALOM :D!
Happiness is the Gateway to the Kdusha.

FACT: 18,000+ ISRAELI WOMEN HAVE CONVERTED TO ISLAM!
Why does this happen? HOW does this happen? The answer is: in these women's homes there is NO DIFFERENCE between a muslim and a Jew! The concept of Yahadut, Shabat Kodesh, our Torah HaKdosha, Kashrut, Halachot, etc. is UNKNOWN, IT DOES NOT EXIST! HASHEM YERACHEM. This is a huge loss for Am Yisrael. Our Bnot Yisrael are taken into the Arab territories to be cut off from Am Yisrael, Machane Yisrael.
This is why such organizations like HidabrootArachim, Yeshivot around the world, Chabad, etc. DO NOT GIVE UP EVEN ON A SINGLE JEW. A Jew is equivalent to an entire world.
What is Mitzvot Adam LeChavero? Its advising your friend next to you to say 'mezonot' on a cookie, bringing a friend with you to mincha, or even praising your friend for wearing a kippa or lending out a pair ot tzitzit, a skirt, a head covering, a siddur, tefillin, tehillim, etc.
Am Yisrael Arevim Ze LaZe.
We need to team up to battle our enemies, not team up to fight within ourseleves. One of the reasons for the destruction of the Beit HaMikdash was also Sinat Chinam (Hatred between Jews). We fix this through Mitzvot Adam LeChavero.
Our Torah Hakdosha is our guide. We follow Hashem.
Judaism=Think.

CLD #123

As we all know, the power of our tongue, our speech and word choice, is incredibly important to the point of confusion. When one looks at the words to describe Jewish phrases and concepts he even sees the truth in the words themselves. For example, ironically, when one discusses getting stronger in terms of Yahadut, we say Lachzor BeTshuva, or 'To Return.' When someone is returning to something, it is because he/she enjoyed their stay or experience at that place. In Judaism, it is the same thing, when one gets stronger and follows the path of Hashem, he is actually returning to the core, returning to clarity, to reality, and mainly to Hashem BaShamayim. The truth can be seen in the words that we use to describe our unbelievable religion, and the same goes for one who leaves (unfortunately) the Da'at (which means knowledge, because when you affiliate yourself with religious people, you become knowledgeable about the world). Lachzor Be'Shehela is the term used to go against Hashem and the ways of our Torah Hakdosha, which means to Turn Around with Question. When one begins questioning and is unaware, he leaves Hashem.
The whole battle in our generation is to SLOWLY step by step riding a series of spiritual up-escalators knowing 100% that we are ready to move on before taking the next step.
B'H May we all have the zchut Lachzor Be'Tshuva and NEVER Lehityaesh (fall, give up).

B'H, OUR TORAH IS SO BEAUTIFUL!
In Masechet Ktubot, the gemara discusses the issue of a father providing his son financially. The Gemara states that a father has to provide for his son minimum till the age of 6 years old. When the commentators, the Ran, Rashi, Rosh, etc., discuss this issue, they explain that since the father is obligated in providing for his wife; so too he is obligated for providing for his child. Why?
Beautiful answer: THE WIFE AND THE CHILD ARE LIKE ONE INDIVIDUAL BEING. When a woman brings a child, another neshama, another Jew into this world of ours, it is like she is bringing more of herself into this world. The Gemara also teaches us that a child is connected to his mother up till the age of six.

This is the reason why when a man is searching for his other half (of his neshama), he needs to find a woman with good midot and chesed.
The link to happiness is the zchut of being with an Eshet Chayil (Mishlei).

B'H may we all have the zchut for a zivug from shamayim bekarov!

CLD #121

A strong Jew who keeps battling the Yetzer Hara with Hashem's help is like a Date Tree ("Tzadik KaTamar Yifrach"- tehillim) and the weak Jew who gives in is like a Willow Tree. A Date Tree takes years and years to develop into a mature tree. So to the Jew who wishes to be strong and slowly moves up spiritually. Through every decision, if the person decides to go against all odds (which is usually the case) and chooses to go the way of Hashem, his roots (army against the Yetzer Hara) dive deeper into the ground. The next time a huge wind blows over (Yetzer Hara attacks), the tree will stay firm in the ground and not fly away and die off. The type of Jew who accepts his failure and lets the Yetzer Hara control everything is exactly like a Willow Tree. When a wind blows over, the Willow swerves and is ready to be uprooted from the ground. This idea is crucial in the fight against Yetzer Hara. We need to open our eyes and realize this world should NOT be looked at with a 'free country' mentality. Everything we do, to the tiniest detail, affects our neshamot.

B'H we will have the zchut to become Tzadikim like an Etz Tamar. At the maturity stage of the Tree, the fruits bloom and the sight is beautiful. So to with the Jew who struggles; the reward is endless.
By the way, Happiness and Smiling is a huge factor in succeeding against the battle, because Yetzer Hara wants you to be depressed and fail in life.

Smile, Cuz Hashem loves you!

MITZVA GORRERET MITZVA!
When a Jew walks down the street, in an instance he can transform himself from New York to Kever Rachel to the Kotel itself! The power of our minds is incredible. Chazal tell us that when someone has the mindset to do a certain mitzva and does not have the opportunity to do the mitzva, then he receives schar (reward) as if he did the mitzva. Another thing (lile there is only one more) that Chazal teach us is the term 'Mitzva Gorreret Mitzva' and 'Avera Gorreret Avera' from the beautiful Pirkei Avot. These two phrases are extremely powerful and true! Mitzva Gorreret Mitzva means when one is planning on doing a mitzva, he is then pushed and is almost literally rolled onto another opportunity for a mitzva. For example, when one goes to do an errand for their parents (Kibud Av Ve'Em) <especially on Friday afternoons,> they usually have the opportunity to help other people with carrying their groceries (Chesed) to their cars, or  smiling to the cashier and make her/his day (VeAhavta Lere'echa Kamocha). The other phrase that Chazal teach us is 'Avera Gorreret Avera,' or the action of doing an avera/chet/pesha (different types of sins) leads us to have the opportunity to do other averot/chatayim/pesha'im. We all need to learn to devise ourselves plans before we do a specific action in order to avoid doing an avera in the future. We all have so much potential.
I hope we can all help eachother out in the future by just smiling the person next to you.
A smile can save a life.

SHAVUA TOV!
For the last 40 years, almost all Hebrew Mizrachit music speaks about the love between a man and a woman. Recently, there has been multiple songs talking about Emunah in Hashem and Loving Hashem and Yerushalayim. This is unbelievable. Besides the fact that out-of-nowhere there has been so many signs that Mashiach is coming (Yerushalayim's local speed train being built as we speak, Anti-Semitism rising, the Jewish people having control of a country for the first time in 2000 years, More people chozrim betshuva than ever, "Obama" in hebrew featured in Yechezkel Ch 38 in the psukim of gog U'magog and the Mashiach, the signs in the Gemara <Masechet Sota>, you got the point) people are waking up. The most important thing now is to help eachother and bring more Achdut, more Achva (brotherhood) and more Ahavat Chinam into our world. We are only about 13 million neshamot around the world and theres an 80% assimilation rate in America with us Jews. We need to do "Ve'Ahavta Le're'echa Kamocha" and really do the best for the person next to us (it says Le're'echa <your friend> and not Le'achicha <your brother> so Jew/Non-Jew doesnt matter!).

Time to wake up (including me, including everyone).
Do you hear the Geula? Cuz Mashiach is coming BH!

SHABAT SHALOM!

We can learn so much from our Torah HaKdosha B'H! In our Parasha, Parashat VaYigash, we see the huge difference between a Jew and a non-Jew's take on the world. In our Parasha, after 22 years Yosef finally meets with his brothers and father and reveals himself to the brothers first. When Yosef does this, he jumps at Binyamin in a loving manner and the pasuk says Binayim cried on Yosef's throat and then Yosef cried on Binyamin's throatS. This symbolizes both Binyamin and Yosef looking into the future and crying on the Mishkan that was in Yosef's territory and Binyamin was crying on the two Batei HaMikdash in his territory of Israel. These cries have continued forever. On the other hand, the first thing the Pharoah of the time did was ask what the brothers do professionally, and they answered that they are sheep herders (which symbolize that we need to be living in a life that is guided by Hashem, where He is the herder and we are the sheep). Pharoah looked at the monetary influence, the physical, the now, the temporary; Binayim and Yosef looked at the futureolam haba, the spiritual, the ruchani, the forever lasting. Pharoah was so happy that 11 more Yosef-alikes came to build the land of Egypt and boost its power and influence on the world. What a difference!
Also throughout the Torah, even though Pharoah changed Yosef's name, the Torah still calls Yosef and calls the Pharoah of the time Pharoah (and not by his name). This shows that a Jew is represented by his name, by what he does spritually (For ex. Akedat Yitzchak, Be'er Miriam) and not by his career status.
B'H may we only be represented by the mitzvot we do and Torah we learn.
Shabat Shalom.
Smile, Cuz Hashem loves all of us!

Jews are like a basket of chocolates. We come from all different cows and mixed with different types of sugars from around the world. We love to be loved, and are usually loved by everyone. Chocolates, like Jews, come in different size and shapes, ethnicities and countries, but all have the same purpose. We all want another person in the world to smile and just receive the good that Hashem gives us. After all, we are in this world to just receive the pleasure that G-d provides us with in this world, but we should use it in the right way. In order to do this G-d gives us certain laws to reach that ultimate pleasure. B'H we will only see and experience the good of the world through torah and mitzvot and share it with our family and friend, and all the other chocolates we haven't met yet :D.

LAST NIGHT :( OF CHANNUKAH!
8 CANDLES ALL LIT and with the shamash the channukiah has a beautiful aura...Every house is lit and bH everyone has the zchut to be proud of the miracle that Hashem did for us thousands of years ago. The candles, all 8 of them, represent the idea of being above nature and the supernatural aspect of G-d. Seven represents completion, shabat, the mashiach (in the 7th thousand years of this world). The fact that there are 8 candles symbolizes the miracle of Channukah how Hashem really showed the world his infinite power that he can make the small overpower the many in a war, make a tiny 1-day can of oil last for 8 days, and completely purify the Beit HaMikdash that was used as the home for avoda zara by the Greeks, Hashem Yerachem. But this is not the point, the point of Chanukkah is the body vs. the soul and choosing the soul. We need to detach ourselves of the materialistic society that America promotes. B'H we'll open our eyes and see the truth that Hashem and the torah is the path that we should follow.

Smile, cuz its so easy lachzor b'tshuva today, everything is laid out for us.

CHAG SAMEACH!
