KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHE’HOO BEN HA’OLAM HABA

For the Ilui Neshama of Avraham ben Ester ZT’L, Yissachar ben Yona ZT’L and Haviva bat Yocheved Z’L.
From Yalkut Yosef Online (Yalkut.info):

1. It is written in Yeshayahu 58:13 "If you restrain your foot because of the Shabbat, from performing your affairs on My holy day...Im Tashiv MiShabbat Raglecha" and our Hachamim (Sages) taught: your affairs are forbidden, meaning your business is not allowed to operate on Shabbat, even if there is no melacha (forbidden Shabbat activity) included (for ex. standing on one's own field or factory on Shabbat without doing any work). It is a Mitzvah not to think about the work one must do on Motzei Shabbat/Sunday during Shabbat day because of Oneg Shabbat (Joy of the Shabbat).

2. One should not go on Shabbat to a home or apartment they are interested to buy or rent to check the apartment's condition or to check how damaged it is. This Halacha stands when it is obvious the individual is going to the apartment/house just and is interested in buying/renting it, when the place is empty or new and the like.

SHABBAT SHALOM!
