KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEH'HOO BEN HA'OLAM HABA

Repeated but Necessary
1. On Lel Purim (tonight for the entire world except Yerushalayim and other walled cities) we come to shul with clothes of Yom Tov and say the Perek “Al Ayelet HaShachar” (Perek Kaf Bet of Tehillim) because it has to do with Purim {The Gemara explains Ayelet HaShachar is Ester}. In Arvit of Purim we add Al HaNisim even though by Amida we haven’t heard the Megillah yet.

2. In Yud Dalet and Tet Vav (14 &15) of Adar we do not say Tachanoon [it doesn’t matter when you celebrate Purim] because they are both days of Simcha and feasting! Just like regular days without Tachanoon, on these days we also do not say LaMnatzeach Ya’ancha in Ashrei after Amida and Tefillah LeDavid after Ashrei.
