B'H PURIM IS ONLY 29 DAYS :D!

Answer from yesterday's question: Based on Mefarshim (commentators): Chazal want to teach us that even when a person is under the influence and is not in control of his own body and mind, also there he should not leave the boundaries of the Torah and the way of Hashem. And even more so here, when he is in loss of control, HERE HE IS JUDGED! It is known that a person's true colors are seen through Koso (his cup, aka wine, when drunk), Kiso (his pocket, money), and Ka'aso (when he is angered).
Also man should constantly try to reach a high ruchani level, and G-d wants to see we can also reach the height of spirituality and choose the way of the Torah even unconsciously when we are lacking the ability to think straight. As Jews, it should be as clear as the difference between black and white to choose Hashem's way, so Chazal say it is okay to drink because obviously under the influence, one will behave as a Ben Torah and not abuse the system. This is why Yom Kippur translated into english is: a Day like Purim. During Yom Kippur, even though you are crying your heart out and shaking from fear of bad judgment, you are still the same Moshe or Rachel at the club or at the non-kosher restaurant, its just because you know now you are being judged that you really need to do tshuva. We learn from Purim that on the day KEpurim (like purim=Yom Kippur) that just like on Purim when drunk you choose the way of Hashem instantly, so too everyday should be as if your life is on the line and you are being judged, not only on Yom Kippur.

SHABAT SHALOM :D!

ALWAYS BE HAPPY, cuz G-d LOVES YOU
(not only because Purim is 29 days away ;)!
