KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEH'HOO BEN HA'OLAM HABA

1. The Shabat before Purim, we take out a second Sefer Torah <1st one for Parashat HaShavua> and read Parashat Zachor, the passage regarding Milchemet Amalek. This is a Mitzvat Aseh from the Torah, therefore people who cannot find a place nearby with 10 people praying {minyan} because thy live in a village or Moshav need to go to another place where there is  a minyan just to hear this passage. The reader and the listeners both need to have the kavana {intent} that they are doing a Mitzvat Aseh from the torah and that the reader is reading for the people and the people have the intent that he is reading for them. The crowd should be focused and completely silent while listening and NOT reading out of their Chumashim. A Sephardi Jew should listen to a Sephardi reader for this Shabat if he is used to going to Ashkenaz minyan and the same goes the other way around. For this reading {parashat Zachor} the most Kosher and beautiful sefer torah should be used.
2. Women should put an extra effort in coming to Shul to listen to this parasha. If a Katan (age 9-12) goes up for the aliyah where Parashat Zachor is read, he should say the brachot for the aliyah and the Chazan/Shaliyach Tzibbur should read the Parasha.
