KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEH'HOO BEN HA'OLAM HABA

Translated from Yalkut Yosef: Since the Blessing of Ilanot (Birkat HaIlanot) can now be said, today's Halachot talk about this Blessing.

1. It is recommended to bless on trees that are present in gardens, orchards and fields outside of the city, however; the trees do not have to be outside the city in order for someone to say the blessing. Therefore, if someone has obstacles refraining them from leaving the city to find two fruit trees with flowers, they can certainly say Birkat HaIlanot on trees in the city.

2. It is best for ten people to gather together and make a group for the Sake of Heaven (Leshem Shamayim) to bless the Bikrat HaIlanot together. After the Beracha itself they should read Perakim (Chapters) from Tehillim (Psalms) and end it with Kaddish Yehe Shelema. It is good for one person to say the beracha loudly and the others say it with him in a whisper.
