KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEH'HOO BEN HA'OLAM HABA

Translated from Yalkut Yosef:

1. It’s a Mitzvah to educate one’s children (under Bar Mitzvah age of 13) to count the Omer everyday with a Beracha and even if the child missed one day, they can still continue to count the Omer with a Beracha because its for educational purposes.

2. A Katan (child under 13) that became Bar Mitzvah during the days of the Omer, even though during his days under 13 he would say the Omer with a Beracha every night and did not miss a single day, he still needs to refrain from saying the Omer Beracha for the rest of the time period and simply listen to the Beracha from the Shaliakh Tzibbur (Hazzan).
