KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEH'HOO BEN HA'OLAM HABA

Translated from Ve’En Lamo Michshol:

1. An individual who washes their hands (for bread, after waking up in the morning) via Netilat Yadayim should not wipe off their hands on their clothing, because this causes forgetting. However, if an individual washed their hands for purposes other than Netilat Yadayim, such as cleaning their hands from dirt, there are those who say these people can wipe off their hands on their clothing and they should not be suspicious of anything. The individual who is stringent not to wipe off their hands after all washing should be praised.

2. An individual who scratches their scalp needs to wash their hands and if they do not they cause themselves to forget. However, an individual who puts on the Tefillin Shel Rosh (Tefillin that goes on their hairline) and touches the hairs on his head does not need to wash his hands afterwards.

All donations are going to our current CLD Fundraising Project: Collecting money for a bride in need!
