How many people would laugh at an individual if he rejected
a King’s treasures? We live everyday of our lives with a human drive telling us
we are not at our optimal level and we always need to work on ourselves to be
wealthier and have more luxuries and we always NEED more more more. We have a
NATURAL thought telling us what we have is not enough.
Hashem is the supernatural being that created the world. He
is above all and loves all. His power is eternal and can do anything. We all
know this. But we don’t live it. Why? Because if we lived it, we would walk up and down the street with a smile, we
would run to every Mitzvah opportunity we have. We would sit in the Sukkah
throughout this entire Hag! Our biggest problem is ourselves.
We must realize we do so much and reach such great spiritual
heights just by being Jewish alone! In our pockets we have treasures and
treasures of wisdom, of tradition from Har Sinai, of great surroundings by
Rabbis, teachers and friends that all push us and support us to succeed. We
have communities that just want to see us smile, see us grow, see us climb the
ladder of life and spiritual and financial success.
Sukkot is a time of Ahdut (brotherly love and unity).
Wherever you go in the Tri-State Area you see people from Chabad holding their
own Lulavim and Etrogim to share with other Jews on the public streets. Wherever
you go you see Sukkot in the most random locations calling Jews everywhere to
come dwell under Hashem’s Shehina (Divine Presence). This Shabbat Hol HaMo’ed
that is arriving in a few short hours is a Shabbat of unity, love and
happiness. But not the happiness of the entire week, EVEN MORE HAPPINESS
INCLUDING SHABBAT!
When we smile tonight at the Kiddush table, we smile because
we are the chosen children of Hashem, we are the ones that Hashem uses to
transfer all the positive energy into the world. We are His soldiers. Be happy,
you represent The King of the World.
Judaism=Think.
Hashem is just a
thought away.
Shabbat Shalom &
Hag Sameakh!
