For the Ilui Neshama of Avraham ben Ester ZT’L & Yissachar ben Yona Z’L.
The human body is constantly making reproductive cells
called gametes in biology. These gametes are located in the reproductive organs
in the body. Women have a monthly process called ovulation where the
reproductive area forms eggs that are ready to be fertilized by sperm. A man
has repeated work done in the reproductive location to reproduce more and more
sperm cells ready to fertilize an egg.
What does this teach us? Hashem has passed down to Moshe
Rabbenu Mishanyot that was passed down from generation to generation on Har (Mount)
Sinai up until today. It says in Pirkei Avot (Ethics of the Fathers) 5:21,
Eighteen Years Old to the Huppa (wedding). Unfortunately today there are many
people who are against getting married young! Hashem created the natural system
to produce reproductive cells constantly. What more do you need than that clear
sign?
Be’ezrat Hashem we will be hearing Shabbat morning the
Parasha of Ekev, that speaks about the great benefits of following a life of
Torah & Mitzvot. We must know that an individual is not called an Adam (human being) until he/she is
married. Therefore, b’H may we have the zechut of living a life of an Adam with
our zivug (match) from the shoresh
nishmatenu (the roots of our soul).
Shabbat Shalom!
