CLD #640

For the Ilui Neshama of Avraham ben Ester ZT’L.
The H2O molecule is interesting. As taught by my bio professor in Baruch, the water molecule is singlehandedly magnificent in the fact that it is a polar molecule. A polar molecule is one where the hydrogen bond causes it to have an unbalanced pull of electrons (negative charge) flow between the two elements. With H2O, the Oxygen bond pulls the electrons from both the hydrogen element stronger than the pull the hydrogens have from the oxygen. This causes the hydrogens to have a slightly positively charged force and the oxygen to have a slightly negatively charged force.

What can we learn from this? The man and the woman were brought into the world to complete each other’s characteristic flaws. In a simple observation of a man in a woman, even if they are doing the same exact actions all day, the two will be completely different in every single step of the way. A man is usually more silent where a woman sends to own the field of speech. A man is more concerned with long lasting items where a woman might be more interested in more pleasant products even if they won’t last long. And on and on.

Hashem has the man and woman work together and attract to eachother. However, the Torah explains in a general sense that there is a set way to live. Not to offend anyone, lets just avoid comparing the man and the woman to the water molecule exactly, rather just explain the connection on a more general level. The molecule has an attraction force to it. However in one way the oxygen has a stronger pull, and in the other side hydrogen has a weaker pull.

The man needs to have a stronger pull in the Halacha realm of the home. The man, with the obligation of learning Torah, should be the place to go to where there is a question in Halacha, because in the end of the day we (men) are the ones obligated to learn. Leaving the religious world up to the man (mostly) is best because the man is the one obligated to pray three times a day in minyan and the man is obligated to teach his children Torah, etc. On the other hand the woman needs to have a stronger pull in the pleasant side of the home. She should be the one in control of how to dress the children, what color the Shabbat plates should be, how many antiques the home should hold, how many pieces of furniture should there be in the living room, etc.

The woman is the head of the household and is the foundation of the home. The man is the head of the household and is the foundation of the home. Isn’t marriage a miracle straight from Hashem?

Judaism=Think.
We are so different and we still have an intense attraction.
