KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEH'HOO BEN HA'OLAM HABA

For the Ilui Neshama of Avraham ben Ester ZT’L. Lehavdeel For the Refua Shlema of Chai Yaakov ben Margalit shlit’a.
Translated from Yalkut Yosef Kitzur Shulchan Aruch:

1. A man who has cut off his armpit hair or his pubic hair has violated a Torah prohibition, which is called Lo Yilbash (wearing a woman’s dress). However, it is allowed to cut off hair in other places of the body where both men and women cut. A man is not allowed to take out white hairs from a his black beard even in out time.

2. There is no prohibition to trim one’s mustache and it is not a problem for the Halacha of Lo Yilbash. It is also allowed for men to look at themselves in a mirror to fix their clothing and look, and there is no prohibition against Lo Yilbash. There is also permission to Talmidei Hachamim (Torah Scholars) to fix their dress.
