In MKT 3000 today we spoke about board games that some
really famous rich individual collects the antique old versions. If one looks
into one of these games, such as “Life” or “Monopoly” on a deeper level than
they can really see how confused the American lifestyle is. Life and Monopoly
is an assumption that life and business runs “by chance.”
For example, in Monopoly and Life, the player needs to throw
dice to maneuver his/her pieces. In Life a throw of dice might decide on how
many children the person has or in Monopoly it decides if the person will go
bankrupt or not. The opposite holds for what LIFE IS REALLY ABOUT.
Hashem is the one running the show and if one places Hashem
as The King, meaning The Operator, The Conductor, The Banker, The Doctor, The
Lawyer, The Technological Assistant, etc. he/she will really be happy in life
because whatever happens he/she knows that its all under Hashem’s control.
