KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEH'HOO BEN HA'OLAM HABA

L’yilui Nishamt Avraham ben Ester ZT’L.
From Yalkut Yosef:

1. One is allowed to run his/her business by purchasing and selling non-kosher fish that are for decoration or monkeys which are used as pets. There is nothing that prohibits owning non-pure animals/pets when they are not for the purposes of eating. It is also the Halacha that one can use as merchandise chicks and other birds (like parrots) to sell for business purposes, even though they are forbidden for eating.

2. One may not place foods and drinks under their bed when they are sleeping, and bediavad (least best alternative) one can place these things under their bed when sleeping because there are more Hachamim (Rabbis) who allow this, especially if the floor is made of tiles/wood. If the food and/or drinks were placed under a bed of a goy and a baby it is permitted.
