For the Ilui Neshama of Avraham ben Ester ZT’L. Lehavdeel
For the Refua Shlema of Chai Yaakov ben Margalit shlit’a.
Translated from Yalkut Yosef Kitzur Shulchan Aruch:
1. Every person must give Tzedaka (charity), even a poor person who is financed from Tzedaka
and whoever would have given less than what he/she must according to Tzedaka
Halachot would be taken to Bet Din (Rabbinical
Court). We are commanded many times to give Tzedaka based on what the person
can give financially.
2. A Gabbai (Tzedaka collector) may not take too much money
from women and children, especially an amount of money the husband/father will
not agree too. If a woman hired a Torah scholar to teach the children and the
husband did not respond negatively or positively to the decision, the teacher
may work for the family.
