CLD #588

For the Ilui Neshama of Avraham ben Ester ZT’L.
The power source for a cell phone or any phones is an outlet/electricity. I do not know why, but when I used to have an iPhone there was no feature that had the phone “wake up” on its own after being shut off to make the alarm go off in the morning, so I needed to leave the phone turned on in order to hear the alarm in the morning.

Anyway, thank G-d my current phone is different. It has a feature that the alarm clock can go off even when the phone is shut down. What does this have to do with our lives and our spiritual connection with Hashem Elokenu?

The answer is quite simple. We know everything in this world connects to the spiritual realm and the worlds of Heaven and Shamayim. The creator of the Human and specifically the Jew, is Hashem. Hashem is the one who provides our power, our energy, and recharges our battery: our Neshama (soul). Unfortunately, there are times in life where our Neshama is filled with sadness and goes through difficulty hardships.

Therefore we need this extra push like the alarm clock when cell phones are turn off, to turn back on our Neshama to reach full energy to connect with Hashem in all situations. So the question stands: Why do we not believe in Hashem?

But what does believing in Hashem have to do with all this?

Hashem is our power source. He provides us with an operating body that runs because the Neshama inside it that keeps it alive. Therefore, in difficult events in life we must turn to Hashem and believe that the spark of ultimate spiritual power will turn into a flame of realistic inspiration and all this will be done under the control of Hashem. Just like a phone which gets charged from electricity can turn on when its completely shut off, how much more so with a Jew who is experiencing difficult spiritual times WITH HASHEM BEING THE ONE WHO PROVIDES THE POWER?! Look up and push forward.

What is a better time to connect with Hashem than Shabbat?
Judasim=Think.
SHABBAT SHALOM!
