For the Ilui Neshama of Avraham ben Ester ZT’L. Lehavdeel
For the Refua Shlema of Chai Yaakov ben Margalit shlit’a.
Translated from Yalkut Yosef Kitzur Shulchan Aruch:
1. Its already the obvious minhag (custom) to not do Kiddush for Sedua Shlishit (third meal of Shabbat after Mincha). However, those
who do Birkat Boreh Peri HaGefen (the
Beracha, blessing, on wine) in the beginning of the Seuda (meal) should not be
rebuked/criticized. In any case, if one can they should say the Beracha and
drink wine (or 100% grape juice) during Seuda Shlishit and not in the
beginning.
2. Also in Sedua
Shlishit one needs to say the Beracha of HaMotzi on two loaves of bread. Women are also obligated in this
Halacha. However, if one does not have two loves of bread they should take two
halves of a loaf and put them together that it will look like a single complete
loaf. We do not hold to cover the bread with a bread covering like in the other
meals of Shabbat but in any case one should cover the bread also for Sedua Shlishit.
