CLD #518

For the Ilui Neshama of Avraham ben Ester ZT’L.
Baruch Hashem every time I turn on my phone I see AT&T’s logo: Rethink Possible. We say in the Berache of Shema Kolenu in the Amidah (Shmoneh Esreh) everyday three time per day: Baruch Ata Hashem Shomeah Tefillah, Blessed are You Hashem The One who Hears our Prayers.
On a simple level, we are blessing Hashem for having the zchut (privilege) that literally The Master of the Universe -who controls our subway rides in the morning and the text messages zooming through the air to get to the respondent’s phone- is standing in front of us and with both ears hearing every word and prayer we spill from our lips.
However, on a slightly deeper level we can understand when saying Hashem hears our Prayer we are admitting and telling ourselves that Hashem listens to every word I say! Meaning, nothing is left unheard, nothing is left hidden. Every emotion in our heart and every thought that is up on our brain’s desktop is revelaed to Hashem. He knows everything. Therefore, when we say Shomeah Tefillah (The One Who hears Prayer), we are saying I believe in my Tefillah that it is being heard and it is eventually going to be answered 100%. We need to inspire ourselves to get to a level where we boost our confidence because we have a Neshama (a soul). It is like having an endless amount of cash on us all the time to be used on whatever we want. We don’t evaluate ourselves and appreciate our status. This is healthy, in fact it is the way a Jew should live; we are given life. We are given freedom to choose good and follow in the footsteps of our holy ancestors to just inspire, be inspired and let loose in the path of the Torah through positive actions and Ma’asim (events).
AT&T’s logo is a complete lie because a Jew lives it everyday, our life ‘motto’ is not Rethink Possible it is actually: Living Possible. We are already there.

We are at that goal of success and completion and appreciation. The problem rests in our hands, we hold ourselves back and we let ourselves fall to the hands of the Yetzer Hara.

If we believed in how much we are actually worth Mashiach would have been here already! We can all reach our spiritual potential, its just a matter of how much we believe in ourselves that we CAN SUCCEED on the path of the Torah HaKdosha.
