For the Ilui Neshama of Rav Avner Grunim
ben Mordechai Nuchum ZT’L (a big Kirruv Rabbi who passed away this Sunday)
& Avraham ben Ester ZT’L. Lehavdeel For the Refua Shlema of Chai
Yaakov ben Margalit shlit’a.
Translated from Mekor Chaim Kitzur Shulchan Aruch:
1. One needs to be very cautious about getting angry because
our Sages said that there isn’t anything worse in regards to damaging the body
than getting angry (and doctors have also testified that angry can cause kidney
and heart diseases). Therefore, those that say they have great difficulty in
controlling their tamper and are sick from anger, need to greaten their time
learning Mussar books on anger and
the severity behind becoming angry and through this effort Shamayim (the
Heavens) will help them in overcoming this horrible characteristic.
2. One is prohibited from going against the laws of traffic.
Therefore, one cannot drive above the speed limit where it is set by law and
he/she must stop at stop signs and follow the law. All the drivers who drive
against the law without caution fall in the category of Rodef (a murderer running after his/her victim because they put the
public in danger).
