This is a quote written by Mark
Twain over one hundered and ten (110)
years ago. Mark Twain asks: What is the secret of Am Yisrael’s Immortality?
It’s a simple answer. The Torah. Hashem created the world with the Torah as its
blueprint. Hashem has given us the Oral and Written Torah over 3,300 years ago
and tells us explicitly that if we stick by it, we are guaranteed spiritual
immortality (forget the fact that we continue to exist all with the Hashgacha,
protection, of Hashem). The Gemara/Talmud (Oral Torah) is the backbone of the
Jew. The Torah/Tanach itself is the Heart of the Jew.
