L’yilui Nishamt Avraham ben Ester.
From Yalkut Yosef:
1. The ones who are cautious and detailed with Mitzvot begin with the Building of the Sukkah immediately after Yom Kippur, in order to ‘stay in a Mitzvah’ by leaving Yom Kippur and entering the preparations for Sukkot (which begins Wednesday night). If someone has trouble building the entire Sukkah in one shot, they should focus on completely a small part of the project, mainly in putting up the Schach (the Sukkah’s ceiling). It is suggested that each one should have a Sukkah for his own home for Sleeping and Dining.
2. The days in between Yom Kippur and Sukkot (between tomorrow and Wednesday Night) do not include Tachanoon (the prayer after the Shomeh Esreh) in Tefilah, however one is allowed to hold an individual fast for him/herself.
Hope everyone had a Tzom Mo’il (meaningful fast) SHAVUA
TOVA!
