CLD #350

For the Lyilui Nishmat of Shahin Shmuel ben Hadassa & the Refua Shlema of Mordechai Tzvi ben Sara.
From the teachings of Rav Nissim Levy shlit’a:
Where is the proof that there is a Neshama and a Guf, which is what we are made up of?
The cemetery, as sad at it is, that is the place where we are all going to be and the only place today where we can see the truth. In our crazy society, which is all based on freedom and liberalism (completely against Judaism 100%), we are told to run after our desires and be as close to animals as possible by fulfilling our needs. This is absolutely against the Torah HaKdosha.
When someone is interested in another person as a friend, or even just to keep himself occupied with company, what is the person looking for? Someone who is kind, someone who is fun to be with; or in other terms: a Neshama that he/she can relate to. Because what is it that attracts one person to another in the end of the day? The person’s Neshama.
How do we know for sure? When someone dies, lo aleinu. When someone leaves this world the body is still here! So why do we avoid from jumping on the person, hug him/her and kiss him/her? Because he/she is NOT HERE! The Neshama is the engine of the person, and the guf (body) is simply the vessel that holds it. No one is worth a penny without their Neshama HaKdosha.
The same thing is with your loved one.

There are MANY people (over 1 billion atheists Hashem Yerachem) who simply believe there is NO OLAM HABA, no after-world, no punishment and no reward for our actions here in this world! They are mistaken. Why?
Answer a question with a question: How come no one jumps on graves and has parties at a cemetery? So what? These people simply are not here anymore, there is “no after life, no olam haba” and I can do whatever I want? So what’s the big deal if I ruin a tombstone here and vandalize another over there?

That’s exactly the point, these people cannot stand up and really go to a cemetery and act like they would at home or wherever these people go to because everyone knows the truth, but no one wants to live it.

Judaism = Think. Why am I in this world and what is my purpose? To go clubbing every night and drink till I throw up and wake up the next morning in some bimbo's bed? I don't think so.
