L’yilui Nishamt Avraham ben Ester, Shahin Shmuel ben Hadassa & Israel Ben Rivka.
From Ve’En Lamo Michshol:
1. Its mandatory for every man to pray in Bet Knesset (Shul) with the Tzibbur (minyan, 10+ people) because their Tefillah never comes back unanswered. There are those who excuse themselves because they said its difficult to pray in Shul compared to the Tefillah at home where they feel like they are more focused. These people should be warned that it is not the right way to pray at home, because even though the Tefillah with the Tzibbur is accepted without focusing (having kavanah, intention), this person also loses the zchut (privelage) of hearing Kaddish, Kdusha, and Barchu, and that loss is very big. Also according to the Kabbalah, whoever does not answer Barchu, his Neshama (soul) does not re-enter the body, therefore one should put a large effort to pray with the Tzibbur.
2. A person who works during the time to pray Tefillat Mincha, and the business owner does not permit the employee to go pray for Mincha, and if the employee leaves he might get fired, the employee is allowed to pray Yachid (individually) at the workplace. However, if leaving to Mincha will not cause the employee to lose money (rather only lose profit), he should not miss Tefillah with the Tzibbur for profit, and Hashem will make sure he will get the profit in another way.
