Lachzor B’Tshuva (accepting the Mitzvot of the Torah, if one who hasn’t done so yet) is like throwing a ball up in the air.
How come? When one begins accepting the Mitzvot of Hashem, he/she in fact rises up to a level that is unreachable for Yehudim who have been religious their entire lives. When someone hits the turbo lane in Nintendo games, especially after racing in a slow speed, they increase to a level of enormous speed. However, if one is already at a high speed, the turbo will not help. The same goes for the one who was at a very low level of Kdusha and Mitzvot, and decided to accept the idea that Hashem is in control of even the tiniest details, and tiniest ways of life. Once they reach this level (which is in fact given to every person at least once in their life, whether they choose to take the opportunity to accept it or not is their choice) they reach their highest point, and then slowly drop lower and higher and lower and higher etc. Just like a bouncing tennis ball.
However, after reaching a level where the ball is barely bouncing, it is time to try to reach the level where the ball was at its highest.
B’H we will all have the zchut to WANT to reach a level where we accept that Hashem and His Torah is part of our life AT ALL TIMES.
