CHAG SHAVUOT SAMEACH! WE SHOULD ALL BE JUMPING UP AND DOWN WITH SIMCHA RIGHT NOW!
This is the same night we received the Torah HaKdosha! This is the same night that made us different than the ENTIRE WORLD! We need to appreciate this moment!
But what is so special about the Torah? Its sensitivity. Its care for every single person in the world. And obviously the fact that it came from The Creator HIMSELF.
How does the Torah care for every single person, item, living thing, plant, rock, tree, computer, etc.? Because if HaKadosh Baruch Hu Himself brought the Torah into this world, then obviously everything in it has a reason and explanation, even if we are not told what it is.
How is the Torah sensitive? By teaching us to care for every person, Ve'Ahavta Le're'echa Kamocha. By teaching us to be more modest by following Moshe Rabbenu's footsteps. By teaching us to be like Avraham Avinu who had all four doors of his home open to the poor and the needy! Who can testify to that type of love for others?! By teaching us to be the best Humans we could be! Because obviously if The Creator gave us the Torah, then obviously all its commandments are the BEST for us because He created us and knows what is BEST for us, period.
The Torah is not just a book, its our life and the lives of all Human Kind. The Torah (both the Oral and Written Torah) is a way in which we can get closer to Hashem, find out a tiny tiny tiny tiny drop of the Chochma (wisdom) that He holds (or does not because that would mean there is a limit to his Chochma).
B'H we will all reach levels of Emunah where it is simple to cut ourselves off from all the evil in this world, to cut ourselves off from the entire greek philosophy, from the entire world of atheism Hashem Yerachem & the world that believes that the human is the one in charge.
CHAG SAMEACH. LET'S ALL REALLY B'H TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF THIS NIGHT, WHERE NO ONE HAS EXCUSES NOT TO LEARN. In order to be strong with living a life of Torah you need to want it, because only Hashem knows if you really want it or not, so what is the point of faking Lachzor BeTshuva (becoming more observant)?
