L'yilui Nishmat Avraham ben Ester & Israel ben Rivka.
From Yalkut Yosef Mo'adim:
1. Its good and correct to follow the ways of our Rabbis who were Mekubalim (dwelved into the learnings of the Zohar) and learn all night tonight, Lel Chag Shavuot, and follow the special Tikkun (learning schedule) for tonight's learning. The best type of learning for tonight's learning all night is the Tikkun already printed in the Machzorim (siddur for Chag), and this is suggested more than learning basic Talmud. If the majority of the Shul is learning the Tikkun for Lel Shavuot then all those individuals who are learning separately should stop and learn with the majority.
2. One should be very cautious not to speak words of non-Torah related issues on this night of learning, which will cause these people to lose this time to speaking instead of learning. According to the Kabbalah one should not learn Mishnah tonight. Before Chatzot (Midnight=12:54) one should say Kriyat Shma, especially for the one who said Arvit during the day (which means the Kriyat Shma obligation was not fulfilled becuase it is only fulfilled after Tzet HaKochavim=9:14). If there is a Talmid Chacham present, he should say words of Torah to pump up the Kahal to prevent them from sleeping.
Chag Sameach! May we B'H continue to learn the Torah HaKdosha in the proper way :D.
