From Me'En Lamo Michshol
Halachot for Shabat:
1. One is not allowed to prepare for anything not associated with Shabat Kodesh on Shabat Kodesh. Therefore, when one arrives to Shul before Tzet HaShabat (when Shabat comes out), he is not allowed to take from his bookshelf a Siddur for Arvit (which is already when Shabat came out). However, if he realizes that until Shabat comes out he will not have a Siddur, then he is allowed to take one to Shul.
2. After one cleans a baby and is about to throw away the diaper, one should be cautious not to stick the diaper stickers to eachother to "seal" the diaper before throwing it away. This act is a permanent "sticking" and when one G-d forbid does this, he/she breaks the Law of Topher on Shabat. One is also not allowed to use a lot of strength to open the sticker of the diaper not to rip the diaper, which is not allowed on Shabat Kodesh.
General Halachot:
3. One should be stringent regarding the separation of meat and milk in the refrigerator. Because it is likely that G-d forbid a drop of milk might fall onto the meat unnoticed [or the other way around]. One should be sure to divide milk from meat products/beverages/food/etc.
4. One should be cautious when cooking pots containing meat and milk next to each other on the stove. One should also be very cautious when opening the pot cover, in order to make sure no contents boil and jump into the other pot. Therefore, whenever adding anything into a pot (like vegetables and/or the like even though the other pot is covered), one should do it gently in order to avoid mixing G-d forbid meat and milk.
From HaBayit HaYehudi:
5. There are theose who avoid going on trips/traveling/siteseeing/etc. during the days of the Omer, and one should not follow this in situations where he/she needs to go for sure [ex. work, Smachot <Brit, Bar Mitzvah>, for Shabat, etc.].
6. Its part of the Masoret passed down from dor to dor (generation to generation=tradition) that says one who sees wasted seed in the morning [G-d forbid] and follows the purification process of Vidui [Jewish confession like in Sphardi Tachanoon] and does Teshuva AND goes to dip in the Mikveh specifically on the same day receives a Spiritual "present." The spiritual power that pushes the body to release wasted sperm [this spiritual force is called a Mazik, literal translation=one who damages] is erased! Therefore one should go visit the Mikveh even more during the days of the Omer with or without the fact that he wasted seed [G-d forbid].
SHABAT SHALOM!
