KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT KOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHE'HOO BEN HAOLAM HABA

1. Cheese or fish that have been salted before Pesach can be eaten on Pesach. Sardines in little boxes from Israel who are made with oil, even though at time of production they were not checked for Chametz (crumbs of bread) and at the time of their "salting" they weren't cautious of turning the food into Chametz, they are all allowed to be eaten on Pesach. Its best to buy these products before Pesach and put them in kosher for Pesach dishes, but our Ashkenazi's brothers are strict about this.

2. Jam that is made on other days of the year in pots/pans that weren't Kosherized for Pesach, and even jam that was made without cautious of being turned into Chametz for Pesach, can be eaten on Pesach. Our Ashkenazi brothers are strict about this and NO teacher can publicly make other Spharadim strict about jam on Pesach by telling them not to eat it, only in his own home can he privately be strict and not eat jam.
