1. Whoever became intoxicated during the Seudah of Purim and did some type of damage to his friend's clothing or the like, is liable to pay for the damage. There is no difference between Purim and other days of the year regarding damages.
2. Rav Ovadya Yosef in Yalkut Yosef explains that it is also a Mitzvah to bring Simcha to children on Purim by giving them candy and sweet foods.
