KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEH'HOO BEN HA'OLAM HABA

1. It is a form of Chassidut, or simply a nice thing to do when one covers his head when sleeping. This halacha shows that it is okay to go out of one's way to do more mitzvot.
2. It is accustomed to teach toddlers, at the time when they begin to walk, to wear a kippa (head covering). There is no question regarding putting a kippa at the age of 3.
