1. In places/seminars where they hand out Tzitziot, specifically made from cotton or fabric, the people taking the tzitziot are told to say the bracha of "Shehecheyanu." One should say this bracha ONLY if the material of the tzitzit is WOOL because this is the only material stated in the Torah HaKdosha.
2. During minyan, the Gabai should avoid going around with the tzdaka box because it distracts people from praying during kriyat shma and amida. The Gabai should go around for money before and/or after the tefillah.
