1. It is forbidden to shave with a razor blade. Since its punishment is that same as the punishment of eating pig; we derive that eating pig and shaving with a razor blade (or life & cut shavers) are equal.
2. One needs to end his day with some type of Torah learning so therefore in the end of Kriyat Shma Al HaMita there are a few psukim that are recited.
