There are certain things in this world that we simply do not understand. For example: Kashrut and Shomer Negiya.
It does not make sense for us, especially in the generation that we live in, to not touch women. What is the big deal? If I give her a hug it will not lead to Eshet Ish (Chas Ve Chalilah!) or any of that!
Forget “modernizing” and fitting in society for one minute; for the last thousands of years there was no such thing as not following Torah and Mitzvot or touching the opposite sex or simply this wave of no shame in going against Hashem’s word. We have to understand that these things that are difficult to accept are things that spiritually hurt us. It is like saying “the sky is blue.” Non Kosher food and having relations before marriage and other things that do not make sense are all things that weaken us spiritually. And we do them because Hashem told us to. Period, no questions asked. AND AFTER WE accept that, then the understanding and logic sinks in.
Do you really want to think on your wedding night that your wife has been with more than 5 guys before you?
JUDAISM=THINK.
The Torah just wants you to have the healthiest and happiest life.
SHAVUA TOV :D.
