KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEH'HOO BEN HA'OLAM HABA

Translated from Ve’En Lamo Michshol:

1. An individual should not ‘crash’ a wedding and eat food there without being invited, even though he is providing the newlyweds with a gift because sometimes the couple can get upset when they do not have a seat to host their invited guests because people who were not invited took their seats.

2. Binyamin was invited to Ariel’s wedding. Binyamin did not show up. A few months later Ariel was invited to Binyamin’s wedding. If Ariel refused to go to Binyamin’s wedding just because Binyamin did not show up to his, then Ariel violates the prohibition of vengeance. However, if seriously Ariel has nothing against Binyamin and simply could not make it to the wedding, then there is no violation of the prohibition of vengeance.

All donations are going to our current CLD Fundraising Project: Collecting money for a bride in need!
