KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEH'HOO BEN HA'OLAM HABA

Translated from Yalkut Yosef:

1. It is forbidden to do melacha on Ever Shabbat (to do any sort of work/labor on Friday) from the 9th and a half hour of the day (approximately 3:30pm) in order to prepare for Shabbat. One who does do work during this time does not see any blessing from it. This is talking about doing labor that one is used to doing, hwoever; if an individual comes across a type of work that is just this time then it is allowed (for example to type up a quick email, sew a button for Shabbat, etc.).

2. One is allowed to write up Divrei Torah in the middle of his learning during this time period (between 3:30pm and Shabbat). There is no difference whether writing this piece of Torah is by a pen, typewriter, computer, mobile device, etc. Every act that is done for Torah learning is allowed until a close time before Shabbat.

Shabbat Shalom!
