When one wakes up in the morning, this individual usually
avoids thinking about the beauty of the world Hashem created. For example, in
this CLD we will focus on the miraculous creation of the sun. When we wake up,
we fail to realize what a wonder the sun is.
The sun is something Hashem created from the first day of
creation, five thousand seven hundred and seventy three years ago. It is a
wonder of nature that does not fail to rise in the morning and drift away at
night, according to Hashem’s instructions. The sun is also unlike any human
made device, which does NOT run on batteries or any sort of electricity. The
sun is a living thing that has outlived the wisest of men and the biggest
Rabbis (on a physical level because our Neshama is forever lasting). Hashem
created the sun and Hashem created us too.
We must look deeper into this phenomenon. The sun is a ball
of fire that is constantly blazing in the universe and is the source of heat
for our living existence. Do we understand that the sun never gives up and is
always working to serve Hashem?! When one looks deep into this they realize how
powerful Hashem is and therefore, one cannot forget the moon and the other
planets Hashem created as well. Hashem’s unlimited wisdom can be seen even in
our physical body, throughout natural disasters, via forests and mountains
along the continents of our globe. Hashem’s greatness can be seen even in the
tiniest of insects, which has the perfect tools in order to live and do its
daily needs.
Be’ezrat Hashem when one begins to think about the vast
science behind Hashem’s creation of the world, they begin to see how small we
are and how amazing Hashem is. These thoughts implant in our hearts love for
Hashem, which is the single most important ingredient in order to continue to
live life according to the Torah and face the toughest challenges. With this
information and with the days of Shovavim one can successfully overcome their
desires and live their spiritual life to the fullest!
