Translated from Yalkut Yosef:
1. A store owner (or any other professional) that closes his
store in a late hour should tell his wife (if she is at home at the time) to
light the candles of Hannukah at the time of Tzet HaKochavim (Nightfall: 5:13pm
EST) and he also fulfills his obligation of lighting Hannukah candles. It is
better to fulfill the Mitzvah of lighting the Hannukah candles this way than
waiting until the husband comes home late at night after the best time (between
Nightfall and 30 minutes after Nightfall) to light the candles.
2. Whoever was in a tough situation (anoos) where he/she did not light the candles of Hannukah, there is
no make-up lighting for the previous day and the individual simply lights the
Hannukah candles just like everyone else around the world.
Hannukah Sameah!
