For the Ilui Neshama of Avraham ben Ester ZT’L. Lehavdeel For the Refua Shlema of Yaakov Hai ben Margalit shlit’a.
Translated from Yalkut Yosef Kitzur Shulchan Aruch:
1. Whoever made the mistake of praying the Tefillat Shaharit of Yom Tov on Hol HaMo'ed did not fulfill the obligation of praying on Hol HaMo'ed and must return to pray the Amida again with the appropriate additions that we add in Hol HaMo'ed. The same Halacha stands in regards to the Minha and Arvit Tefillot.
2. It is a Mitzvah to get a haircut and shave on Erev Yom Tov (falls on Sunday), in order to avoid welcoming the Hag with messy features. However, even if an individual was distracted and unable to shave or get a haircut on Erev Yom Tov, he cannot shave or get a haircut throughout Hol HaMo'ed.
Shabbat Shalom & CHAG SAMEAKH!
