For the Ilui Neshama of Avraham ben Ester ZT’L and Eliyahu ben Norma. Lehavdeel
For the Refua Shlema of Chai Yaakov ben Margalit shlit’a.
Translated from Yalkut Yosef Kitzur Shulchan Aruch:
1. Whoever left inside his car his Talit for Shabbat Kodesh
or any types of treats/desserts/appetizers specifically baked for Shabbat and
one cannot open the car door without the car’s light turning on, then they can
certainly ask a non-Jew to bring their Talit or Sifrei Kodesh (Torah-related
books, or anything of the like) from the car.
2. A Jew should stop a non-Jew who is violating Shabbat by
doing an action that is prohibited in the Jew’s home for the Jew. However, if the non-Jew is doing an action that is
prohibited on Shabbat solely for himself
in the Jew’s home, no one needs to make him/her stop from doing it, even if
they are doing something prohibited using the Jew’s utensils/vessels. Then
again if they are behaving this way, a Jew may not tell him/her they can take
their own utensils/vessels for the prohibited act.
