KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEH'HOO BEN HA'OLAM HABA

L’yilui Nishamt Avraham ben Ester ZT’L.
From Ve’en Lamo Michshol:

1. It is permissible for a woman to drive with a man in the hours of the night, like driving in a taxi and the like, because the trip is inside a city in a place where many people pass by and live. Or this situation is allowed when they are on main roads where there are cars passing by often. This is allowed because the man and woman together are embarrassed to fall into prohibited situations in these places.

2. A woman that needs to drive in the daytime in a place where there are no passerbyers or in the late hours of the night where everyone is already sleeping may not travel with a man, because this situation can lead the two to fall into  prohibited situation. However, if the woman is in a pressed environment to get a ride with a man and her husband is in the city, they can be lenient to drive together in the late hours of the night, even if there is no passerbyers around.
