For the Ilui Neshama of Avraham ben Ester ZT’L.
It's time to appreciate how much we have and how much we can receive. Sometimes we think the value of a Mitzvah is like a gum wrapper after we ate the gum. Our life is filled with ups and downs, like a huge roller coaster.None of us want to go down but unfortunately due to circumstances not in our control, Hashem spins our lives around to a point a little lower than usual. During these times of hardship or even just a slight mood change, we do not operate based on our mind and normal thinking. We let our hearts do all the work and then it channels our lives. This is the point when we need to put all our strength to get back to where we were. Think about how much we accomplished together as a nation, think how much we accomplished together as a family, think how much I did as a student, as a spouse, as an alumnus of some high school, as a fellow Jew, or maybe just look in the mirror, smile and think how much I did for myself.
Our expectations for ourselves are through the roof. Sometimes we need to just take a step down and breathe.
Relax.
This moment of hesitation is the jumpstart to a life filled with joy and being honest to oneself.
Being with Hashem means being honest with yourself and having a guide to your life. Being with Hashem means speaking with Him and opening up. Even if you are the toughest guy, in the end of the day we are all human. Don't let those emotions get bottled up to a point where everything will just blurt out unexpectedly in the most embarrassing way.
Poor Israeli Jews are under attack by palestinians and we are busy thinking too deeply about our situation and our future.
Take a second and think how much we have and how much we can do to inspire people, bring meaning to our friends, and help even the most random person on the sidewalk with a smile. It says in the Gemara it is sweeter to show one's teeth (smile) than offering a delicious glass of milk.
The most dangerous point in life that no one wants to ever get to is to give up. B'H we will always rise in happiness and purity to live our lives to the fullest.
Judaism is about being engaged in the most important times of life.
Don't forget the gum wrapper was the vessel that held the gum you enjoyed from. The same goes for Mitzvot, which are the reason for our happiness and success.

Judaism=Think.
