KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEHOO BEN HAOLAM HABA

L’yilui Nishamt Avraham ben Ester.
Translated from Ve’En Lamo Michshol:

1. A young man or child playing with a ball and during the game caused another friend to break their glasses or something of the like, is exempt for the damage of the glasses (meaning one does not need to pay for the friend’s glasses).

2. One who caused another one monetary damage to any item or product, even though he/she pays for the damage, the atonement is not completed until the friend asks for full forgiveness from the party whose item was damaged. The friend whose item was damaged cannot be cruel and ignore/reject the apology because this is against the behavior of Am Yisrael. All who are quick to forgive shall be praised and the spirit of the wise dwells upon him/her.
