No Matter What Happened to Her, She is always with Hashem!

A Guest Writer shares her Emunah in Hashem through her mother's passing...

"at my darkest hour i only need to look at the moon"

The moon is said to control the tides, and this has a connection with
womens monthly cycles. A mother is able to bore children only because
of her cycles. My mother gave me life, but much more than giving me
life she showed me the purpose of life. As jewish women did not give
up their jewlery to make the golden calf and such were given the day
of the new moon off from work, my mother symbolized a jewish woman who
stood up for anything she believed in, and more importantly stood up
for me whenever I called upon her. However my mother never took a day
off from being a mother until she took her final breath on this
physical earth. I understand that although her physical body might not
be with me, the goodness of her neshama and her teachings live on
forever. The moon which comes out at the darkest of times reminds me
that my mothers light always shines down upon me, no matter how dark
life may become my mothers light continually guides me.

Always in our hearts, I love you so much mommy!
