For the Ilui Neshama of Avraham ben Ester ZT’L.
Translated from Yalkut Yosef:
1. One should be cautious not to touch anything (including
foods) before doing Netillat Yadayim of
Shacharit (washing one’s hands
properly right when they wake up). One should also make sure his/her children
do Netillat Yadayim before the touch
drinks or foods, because with children one should also be cautious. If the
children know how to say a Beracha, they should say the Beracha of “Al Netillat Yadayim” properly, because
this is a Segula that the children
will become great in Torah, Kedusha and Purity.
2. One is allowed to buy bread from a bakery that holds
workers that do not do Netillat Yadayim Shacharit as written in Halacha. It is
also allowed to buy foods and other necessary items from a secular store owner
that most likely does not do Netillat Yadayim Shacharit.
