KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEHOO BEN HAOLAM HABA

L’yilui Nishamt Avraham ben Ester.
From Ve’En Lamo Michshol:

1. The Rabbis said if Hashem did not give us the Torah HaKdosha, we would learn Derech Eretz (proper manners) from the Rooster. Why? The Rooster is the one who pays great attention and respects his mate greatly before the relationship begins. From this we learn that one needs to act with great Derech Eretz with his wife, to bring her from time to time a modest gift to strengthen the love, companionship and peace between them.

2. One does not ask a woman how she is doing or how she feels. Therefore, a man who bumps into his neighbor (female) he should not ask her how she is doing, because by this they can get closer and gain an inappropriate liking towards each other. So the man should ask “how is the entire family, etc” instead of asking her individually how she is doing.

SHAVUA TOV!
