KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT BECHOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHEHOO BEN HAOLAM HABA

L’yilui Nishamt Avraham ben Ester, Shahin Shmuel ben Hadassa & Israel Ben Rivka.
From Yalkut Yosef:

1. One should be cautious not to wear any clothing that might look disrespectful/disliked in front of the public, because whoever has a bad reputation in public has a bad reputation in Shamayim (Heaven) and his/her Tefillah (prayer) is not answered. Therefore, one should make sure they do not wear clothing that is inside out that shows people the threading that made up the piece of clothing. Wearing this type of clothing causes memory loss.

2. Also, one should watch out not to wear clothing that has a bad stench, and should act in general in a respectful manner. The Rambam writes that a Talmid Chacham, a Ben Torah who learns Torah in Yeshiva is not allowed to wear clothing with stains or mold or anything of the like. At the same time, this Talmid Chacham is not allowed to wear the most luxurious clothing that makes him look wealthy or the poorest clothes that makes him look like a beggar. Rather, a Talmid Chacham should wear average clothing.
