L’yilui Nishamt Avraham ben Ester, Shahin Shmuel
ben Hadassa &
Israel Ben Rivka.
From Yalkut Yosef:
1. It is a Mitzvah to run to Bet
Knesset (Shul), but it is prohibited to run out of Bet Knesset (when exiting).
Whoever has the choice to walk or drive to Bet Knesset, one should walk there.
If the Bet Knesset is far away or one wants to get there early or is in a rush,
one can drive there. When arriving, one should park their car a little farther
than expected just to gain more Mitzvot by having more steps to take to Bet
Knesset.
2. It is correct that everyone should be accustomed to
eating Pat Shacharit (Kazayit -27
grams- of bread) after the Shacharit Tefillah in order to be strong and healthy
for Avodat Hashem, Tefillah and Learning Torah (doing Mitzvot and following in
the way of G-d).
3. After one leaves Bet Knesset for Tefillat Shacharit they
should go to the Bet Midrash (Torah Learning Center/Yeshiva) to set up a time
to learn Torah daily. This set time should be permanent and concrete in one’s
schedule, and one should not distance away from this schedule even if it means
to lose a lot financially. This means when one sets their set time of Daily Torah
Learning they should think really well what time is best for that.
