In the name of the Ben Ish Chai: There is a beautiful (obviously) Pasuk from Parashat Ki Tavo, which we heard this morning in Shul. It speaks about the Heavens, as we know from Masechet Chagigah (12b), there are Seven Heavens in Shamayim, which each one holding a different mission to do throughout the world. For example, the first one is called “Vilon” and it opens up the ability for the sun to give light to the world and then closes that door.

The Pasuk in Devarim 26:15 "Look down from Your holy dwelling, from the heavens, and bless Your people Israel, and the gground which Your have given to us, as You swore to our forefathers a land flowing with milk an honey" speaks about “Me’on,” which is the Fifth Heaven in Shamayim. This Rakiya (heaven) holds Malachei HaSharet, which are the (positive) Angels in Shamayim that sing and praise Hashem at night. The pasuk says: Look down from Your holy dwelling (which is Me’on), and says bless Your people DIRECTLY. We just learned from the Ben Ish Chai that Me’on is the Rakiya that holds the Malachei HaSharet, so why is the pasuk then telling me that Hashem blesses His people?

Because we, Am Yisrael, do not want Angels to bless us, we want HASHEM DIRECTLY to bless us.

Even though the Beracha is going through Me’on we need to understand that our voice is so POWERFUL, and we hold a lot of our Strength with what comes out of our mouths, which means we have the power to “make” Hashem bless us DIRECTLY.

We need to know we are the Connection Cables in the world to Hashem to show the world HASHEM EXISTS.
