KOL HASHONEH HALACHOT KOL YOM MUVTACH LO SHE'HOO BEN HAOLAM HABA

L’yilui Nishamt Avraham ben Ester & Israel Ben Rivka.
From HaBayit HaYehudi:

1. One should refrain from cutting his/her nails from Motzei Shabat till after Tisha BeAv (called “Shavua SheChal Bo,” the week that includes Tisha BeAv). If one’s nails are longer than the finger itself, one can cut off the nails due to reasons explained in Kabbalah.

2. One may not launder during the week of Tisha BeAv (Shavua SheChal Bo, from Motzei Shabat until after the fast), even if the person will not wear the article of clothing till after the fast, and even if he/she only has one piece of this clothing. One may not wear laundered clothes from before, may not put laundered sheets on his/her bed or launder tablecloths. However, one may launder a Talit or a Tzitzit (Talit Katan) because it is for a Mitzvah.

The fast of Tisha BeAv is in 4 days. Are you ready? SHABAT SHALOM!
