Shopping is an addictive drug today in society. People go into grocery stores with a list of 17 items and come out with 65. What does this teach us?
This teaches us the constant bombardment of the advertising world to tell us what to do and how to live.
For example, many people have only one brand of toothpaste, or one brand of cologne they use all the time. Never change. Always get sucked into our whole of brand name products and accessories and continue living. However, if you stop buying it, your life is different and you cannot continue living. We always need to constantly be checking ourselves, because if it wasn't for this we would be no different then the average bumbo jumbo on the street.
We are Jewish and we need to realize our life is ONLY CHANGE! We only need to rise and understand that we will never EVER get back today's precious hours and minutes. The potential to continue rising spiritually is always at your hands and is your choice.
It is only a matter of time when we will see Be'Ezrat Hashem if we used our time for the best.
